Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Observes safety procedures, rules, regulations, and state, federal and local laws in the performance of job duties
• Print work orders, picklists and other documents required in preparation for kitting parts
• Pull material from stock to fulfill orders for production, as well as shipping as needed
• Maintain inventory accuracy by labeling parts and putting parts items away in defined locations
• Ensure punctual, reliable and acceptable attendance
• Perform other duties as required

Safety Responsibilities :

• Follows safety procedures, rules, regulations, and state, federal and local laws in the performance of job duties
• Follows all safety and laboratory guidelines, good housekeeping practices and wears provided PPE
• Promptly reports risks and incidents to the appropriate personnel and participates in writing incident reports if needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Must be able to maintain records of material, supplies, time and work performed and understand and use work instructions
• Must be skilled at completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and work successfully with minimal supervision
• Must be able to operate a personal computer with a general understanding of Microsoft software
• General mechanical, technical aptitude skills are preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number common fractions or decimals
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English

Level of Education & Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 1-3 years experience in a material handling, stockroom or similar experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
