Protective Services Receptionist II - Einstein, Elkins Park Campus (Part Time)

Responsibilities

Primary Function :

Provide general information to visitors, telephone callers, and hospital staff at the Albert Einstein Main campus. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) Pediatrics to Geriatrics in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional / developmental age of the individual served.

Physical Demand Analysis : Ability to work and rotate all shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements : Alternating activity that includes sitting and walking.

Visual Requirements : Alternating activity which includes reading handwritten and computer generated information.

Hearing Requirements : Alternating activity that includes receiving verbal and telephonic Information.

Working Conditions : Alternating activity with all levels of hospital staff as well as patients and visitors. Can be stressful and fast paced.

Ability to handle a high stress environment.

Qualifications

Education / Training / Experience :

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Computer skills required.
• 6 months experience required preferably in a medical setting.
• Computer based Visitor Pass Program experience required.

Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
