Overview : Our Nashville-based team covers multiple subsectors in healthcare services / provider space, including hospitals, pharmacy supply chain, home health / post-acute care, ambulatory surgery centers, value-based care, behavioral health, labs, DME, healthcare staffing, consumer health, and senior housing.
Responsibilities will include :
- Working underneath publishing analyst to cover healthcare services subsectors.
- Building and maintaining -statement financial models and industry-oriented databases
- Conducting proprietary research, evaluating the competitive landscape, analyzing industry news and company filings, attending presentations, and speaking with key opinion leaders
- Closely monitoring healthcare industry news and trends
- Writing research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, and industry / company news
- Conceiving and executing on differentiated project ideas
- Interfacing with company management teams, internal sales / trading personnel, and institutional investors
- Maintaining relationships with industry contacts
- Executing corporate access events including company non-deal roadshows, conferences, summits, and expert interactions (some travel may be required eventually)
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has a passion for stocks and / or the healthcare industry, financial modeling experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.
The candidate should be a fast learner, a self-starter, and able to learn and work independently with limited direction.
