About the Intern Program :

OCC is looking for interns who are hungry for the chance to learn more, humble enough to admit they don't know all the answers, and smart enough to recognize the opportunity. The OCC Internship Program provides students with the real-world skills to successfully transition into a career in the financial services industry. As an intern, you will help lead projects that help shape the future of OCC. This person will apply their skill set and knowledge toward tackling designated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to have a true impact on the company by designing and implementing solutions for real challenges facing the business. Here's what we're looking for :

Projects and Responsibilities :

Participate in Security-AI driven proof-of-concept projects.

Contributes to the integration of AI solutions with existing systems.

Partner with security teams to gather requirements and develop tailored AI-driven solutions to address security challenges.

Develop metrics to assess impact of AI implementations.

Assist with documentation and evaluations.

Candidate Qualifications :

Desired major(s) : Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields

Desired year in school : Senior

Technical experience desired : Python, SQL, AWS, Machine Learning

Any additional qualifications : Great communication skills, analytical mindset and attention to detail, keen willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving technology space.

What knowledge and skills will the intern gain from this internship?

Learn how Security Automation reviews existing processes / reports and looks for ways to enhance / automate them.

Learn how to integrate AI models into current processes to improve efficiency.

Learn about security AI initiatives and analysis projects while collaborating cross-functionally amongst the organization.

Knowledge of various AI tools and frameworks to provide practical exposure to AI applications in cybersecurity environments.

Compensation

• The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and / or education.
• In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
• We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com / careers
• All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range ). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
