Job Summary :

Safety and Procedures :
- Follow all publicized safety policies / procedures and JIBS applicable to the job.
- Use appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department / role.
- Attend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned.
- Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.
Essential Job Functions :
- To work rotating shifts w / potential weekend shifts
- To operate table for finishing and / or coating applications
- To understand the Theory of Finishing
- Basic computer skills
- The ability to construct and interpret JIBS.
- To perform all tasks requested by Finishing Team Lead and / or Finishing Area Manager.
- To perform minor maintenance work.
- Participate in TPM program
- Cross Train
- To have the ability to understand the Trailer Card for Finishing information and instructions.
- This position will be included on dept. backfill for weekend shift
- To act as a mature, responsible member of the Finishing Team.
- To work on Process Improvement upgrades.
- To participate on various department groups or committees.
- To work overtime as needed
