Job Description :
We are seeking certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech and language therapy
services to students at Fort Liberty and Camp Lejeune Department of Defense Education Activity
DoDEA) schools for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an opportunity to serve military dependents in an
educational setting, delivering speech and language services aligned with the Individualized Education
Program (IEP) goals. Positions are available at Gordon Elementary School (Fort Liberty), Heroes
Elementary School (Camp Lejeune), DeLalio Elementary School (Camp Lejeune), and Lejeune High School
Camp Lejeune).
Certificates / Security Clearances / Other
Services will be provided during regular school hours, with occasional additional hours before or after
the school day (up to two hours per week).
Government-provided and required training will be compensated at the same rate as student services.
Privacy Act compliance and background checks are mandatory before the commencement of work.

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP
goals.
- Provide indirect (consultative) services to teachers, parents, and students.
- Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and school-wide screenings.
- Write evaluation reports including diagnostic findings and their educational implications.
- Maintain confidential special education files in compliance with DoD standards.
- Travel as needed for homebound students (up to five round trips per week, not exceeding 50
miles).
Attend virtual meetings and provide necessary documentation.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience working with military dependents or in DoDEA schools.
- Experience providing consultative services and writing IEP goals.
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively.
