We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Consent Management team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading a team of Asset Management professionals and ensuring that borrower requests are processed and considered effectively.
The Assistant Manager has a strong background in Commercial Real Estate with an emphasis on Lender Consent and Asset Management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Carry out leadership responsibilities for an assigned team of Asset Management professionals while also promoting best practices.
- Hire, train, and mentor a team of Consent Asset Managers and Analysts with varying levels of experience in multiple office locations.
- Create and conduct training sessions and procedures to ensure consistency and quality for both external guidelines and internal processes.
- Develop rapport with Investor counterparts to ensure compliance with Servicing Guide requirements.
- Troubleshoot, formally review, and personally carry out rotating deliverables.
- Work with an assigned team of Asset Managers and Analysts to ensure that borrower requests for Lender Consent are appropriately considered and processed so as to protect the Borrower, Investor, and Greystone.
- Demonstrate expertise in both Investor guidelines and internal procedures to effectively communicate requirements to team members.
- Step in as needed to facilitate a broader group for pressing deliverable cycles and evolving policies.
- Act as a resource for other team members, as well as serve as a mentor for new team members of all levels.
- Be instrumental in the generation, development, and implementation of process or procedural improvements.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required :
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate with a focus on Asset Management of GSE products.
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Products, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Exhibit self-motivation whether working independently or on a team.
- A strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving critical goals.
- An ability to execute and delegate multiple projects with deliverables to ensure that timelines and results are achieved.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of individuals through the completion of assigned tasks and the development of skills appropriate for the role.
- An ability to demonstrate decisiveness and adaptability, quickly modifying approaches to accommodate inevitable changes in customer needs, business directions, and conditions.
