RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage the PLANTERS, CORN NUTS, and COMPLEATS brand formats at Kroger Corporate.
- Collaborate with Corp. VMI and Retail teams to facilitate Kroger baseline business.
- Work with Customer Business Manager (CBM) and sales strategy support team to develop annual sales plans.
- Engage with Category Manager and Divisional Merchandiser to implement sales and marketing initiatives.
- Execute distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing (DSMP) objectives for responsible brands.
- Identify threats and opportunities in categories affecting sales volume and profitability.
- Leverage insights to develop and deliver fact-based presentations.
- Scenario plan with Sales Strategy, Shopper, and Retail Growth Management support.
- Interpret information regarding category sales and provide insights to drive sales.
- Develop a deep understanding of Kroger Omni Channel capabilities.
- Enhance competencies through participation in learning and development workshops.
- Develop business relationships with key customers and maintain consistent communication.
QUALIFICATIONS : Required
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of sales / marketing / sales strategy experience.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply business analytics.
- Pattern of initiative.
- Ability to work in a team environment on complex projects.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take opportunities from conception to execution.
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.
Preferred
3+ years of sales / marketing / sales strategy experience.
LOCATION : Cincinnati Sales Office, Cincinnati, OH
TRAVEL : Up to 10% of the time.
