job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform access control duties to help manage entry and exit points at the location, verifying credentials and providing guidance to authorized personnel and visitors. Deliver customer service by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures, responding to inquiries, and assisting guests as needed. Respond to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal management and / or site representatives as required. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues. Document observations and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual situations according to established protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least one year of security-related experience is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Access Control Monitor

This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
