We are seeking a new In House Counsel Lawyer (Hybrid) to join our team. Reporting to the Secretary and General Counsel - Americas, you will be responsible for assisting in all legal, risk and compliance matters for operations in North America (United States and Canada), and derivatively in Central and South America.
Your primary responsibility will be as the legal point of contact assisting the business in drafting and negotiating all types of commercial agreements, including those related to client engagements, confidentiality and non-disclosure, referral and teaming arrangements, and independent contractors.
What You Will Do
- Review and revise client proposal submissions, including agreements and certifications / representations.
- Support acquisition strategy by performing due diligence and integration activities.
- Evaluate and resolve potential client engagement conflicts of interest.
- Interface with Human Resources department on employment law matters.
- Manage interface with insurance providers.
- Manage client fee collection matters.
- Assist with various legal, risk, and compliance matters for the global business.
- Draft and negotiate all types of commercial agreements.
