About The Opportunity
As our Social Media & Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for growing our social media presence and driving engagement through creative, student and youth-focused content.
In this role, you'll strategize and actively engage with similar brands and student creators, ensuring our brand is front and center in the student and youth travel space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on increasing student engagement and driving flight bookings.
- Proactively engage with student creators and similar brands on social media to increase visibility and grow our community.
- Create engaging e-mail messaging and campaigns.
- Build the business plan for a Brand Ambassador Program to create strong connections with student communities.
- Establish relationships with target groups (students, trade, alumni, etc) to drive brand awareness and loyalty.
- Create innovative content that resonates with our student audience.
- Monitor and manage incoming reviews on platforms like Sitejabber and Trustpilot.
- Manage and respond to social media comments, fostering positive interactions.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and student interests.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and community engagement.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.
- Excellent on-camera presence.
- High level of creativity and a sharp sense of humor.
- Go-getter and self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in launching or managing a brand ambassador program.
- Familiarity with the student and youth market.
