Job Summary :
Lexus of Wayzata is currently seeking a Lot Porter to join our team in Wayzata, Minnesota. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the automotive industry.
As a Lot Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dealership lot is maintained, organized, and presents a professional image to our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to keep vehicles clean and presentable for customers, as well as assisting with various other tasks around the dealership.
Compensation & Benefits :
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $18 to $21 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities :
- Keep the dealership lot clean, organized, and free of debris
- Move vehicles to designated areas on the lot as needed
- Wash, dry, and detail vehicles to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Vacuum and clean interiors of vehicles
- Ensure all vehicles have appropriate and up-to-date information such as window stickers, pricing and model information
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Assist with lot inventory and vehicle management
- Report any damage or mechanical issues to management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive detailing / cleaning techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
