The Test Proctor is responsible for proctoringtests for middle and high school students in a variety of subjects.
Position Responsibilities
Monitor testing center and help enforce time limits and compliance with other examination procedures including arranging the seating of students
Answer questions concerning examination procedures, discrepancies in tests and other routine matters
Assist in administering written exams
Maintain student data tracking tools
Give clear and concise instructions
Collect, check and count examination materials
Report rule violations and / or unusual occurrences during examinations to supervisor
Control admission to and exit from testing center
Move about room during exam to guard against cheating, use of unauthorized aids, etc.
Create and maintains a safe environment
Assure proper use of equipment and appropriate behavior for student athletes
Communicate effectively to students, teachers and staff as necessary
Maintain a professional relationship with students, parents, employees
Document behavior of students to assist teachers / staff
Maintain confidentiality that is consistent with Academy and Learning Services standards
Perform department protocols learned in training consistently
Intervene when students are not in control, not in their proper location or in unsafe situation
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
Commit to up to 29 hours of work per week
Knowledge of Excel, and Word
Relate to adolescents for effective content support
Accurate & consistent data entry
Preferred Skills
Bilingual
Previous experience in an education setting
