Life at Bentley

Bentley Laboratories is an OTC and cGMP formulation development and manufacturing partner for over 100 brands in the skin care, OTC and personal care industry, based in two sites located in Edison NJ.

Working with customers selling into Global markets, working with a wide range of chemistries. Core manufacturing capabilities, include :

• OTC Products, FDA Registered Facility
• Personal Care and Cosmetic Products
• Emulsions for skin care
• Surfactant systems for hair care, bath & body products
• Hot fill processing for solid stick deodorants, lip balms, and other wax systems
• Powders for dry shampoos, and other loose power face applications

Why be a Senior Manager, Quality at THG?

We’re looking to hire a Senior Manager who will be responsible for leading on all investigations, hosting audits and implementing core processes and ways of working.

As a Senior Manager, Quality you will :

• Be accountable for maintaining the Quality Management System in line with the objectives of the beauty manufacturing division.
• Through regular KPI and process reviews, you will proactively report and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Host external audits, ensuring effective and corrective preventative actions are implemented.
• Represent the company, in discussions with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Manage performance, training, development and wellbeing of all team members
• Manage operating spend against budget, including overtime and third party lab testing costs

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

• A Quality Assurance expert with 10+ years of experience in quality manufacturing, including bulk and filling processes for personal care and cosmetics
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (biology or chemistry an advantage)
• Proven experience in root cause investigation and analysis, FDA regulations, auditing, and quality systems management and sampling techniques.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role, managing direct reports
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 and / or ISO 13485 for drug products.
• In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations for cosmetics and drug manufacturing, including Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Proficiency in developing and overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

With first-hand experience in FDA OTC regulatory audits, external certification audits and customer audits

Spanish speaker would be advantageous but by no means a requirement.
