This role is foundational within our organization with lots of opportunity for growth as you’ll wear many hats communicating directly with partners to resolve technical issues, collaborating with product and engineering teams to investigate bug reports and create both automated and manual test suites.

We are looking for a full-time employee with a start date of ASAP. We are fully remote and open to all US locations. We are building for the future!

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of QA experience (manual or automated)
  • Experience testing native mobile applications (Android, iOS)
  • Prior experience using testing automation tools (low code, Appium, Selenium, XCTest, Robot, etc)
  • Experience creating test plans and generating test reports (TestRail, Zephyr, etc)
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and SQL
  • Primary residence in one of the following states, in which Lucra is fully operational : Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Our Ideal Candidate :

  • Ability to conduct initial root cause analysis to determine if an issue is actually a bug or a misconfiguration somewhere in the application stack.
  • Proven track record of working through ambiguity during the development process to create test plans that evolve along with the software development process.
  • Thought leadership experience on integrating quality assurance along with product and software development processes.
  • Understands both manual testing and automation are required to achieve the best outcome and is ready to execute manual smoke and regression testing along with automation.
  • Has built low code or full code automated test suites for native mobile applications that handle authentication, and variations in data availability (think sports schedules).
  • Test execution and integrated reporting to support software release cycles.
  • Has analyzed the impact of production issues and identified affected users and customers.
  • Has worked across teams to own and triage bug investigations.
  • Has worked closely with the product, engineering, and customer support teams to identify improvement areas for a product and maintain an up-to-date backlog of known bug reports.
  • Has experience working in a fast-paced early-stage start-up environment or is incredibly enthusiastic about learning quickly in a new space.
  • Participated in Root Cause Analysis and helped implement process improvements.

Looking for candidates for an immediate start-date. Please provide a detailed reason as to why you want to work at Lucra (no more than 250 words).

Salary will be based on experience.
