SAP Process Consultant - Accounting

What is the role about?

As an SAP Process Consultant - Accounting, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial and controlling processes by maintaining our ERP environment, ensuring we stay at the forefront of industry standards and compliance.

What tasks will you perform?

• Continuously optimize Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes in SAP.
• Assist SAP ERP users in North and South America through internal IT support tickets, addressing process and tool-related queries.
• Manage global SAP FICO projects, including stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute actively to the global Digital Compliance team, implementing new legal requirements using SAP e-document framework and third-party solutions.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to stay informed about system changes and provide local feedback.
• Partner with regional users to solve business problems, offering existing solutions or guidance for process improvement.
• Implement system configuration, data migration, testing, and deployment of FICO solutions.

What do we expect from you?

• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
• Understanding of accounting and controlling processes
• Experience in SAP customizing or related ERP experience
• Project management skills with a passion for systems, processes, and new technologies
• Familiarity with connected ERP processes (Sales and Distribution, Materials Management)
• Ability to work individually and in a global team environment
• Up to 10% travel required
