Volt is immediately hiring an Electronics Field Service Engineer in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader.
This is a first shift position with 60% travel
Monday - Friday. May travel on a weekend day, not often. Must be flexible to shift schedule ( Sunday - Thursday, example ).
Day shift, very little overtime
As a Field Service Engineer, you will :
- Servicing license plate manufacturing equipment at correctional facilities around the country.
- After becoming familiar with the equipment, will supply phone support to customers when not traveling.
- Work with up to 480vac 3-phase power down to many small DC voltages.
Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Formal electrical and electronics training.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- MUST be able to work with current team members and be very customer focused.
- MUST have an easy-going, patient personality.
Pay Rate : $40-50 hr.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
