Test Technician II

We are looking for a Test Technician 2 to join us in Austin, TX!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform the assembly, set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic, electro-mechanical, and automation systems and machines to meet the production schedule
• Functionally tests and troubleshoots semiconductor manufacturing equipment to component level.
• Provide input and recommendations to Management and other team members on improvement opportunities based on data and observations
• Utilizes both manual and automated tests to perform system level testing to ensure product quality and reliability in accordance with company specifications
• Works cooperatively on project work team; documents and communicates actions, irregularities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Excellent communications skills and computer literacy is essential
• Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to stay on schedule
• Must have the ability to work well with coworkers
• Ability to work 2nd shift or Weekend shift
• Punctual, dependable, and the ability to work extended shifts and / or weekend shifts with short notice
• Extensive knowledge of trouble shooting skills, quality, and process orientation
• Good understanding of test fixtures and equipment

Educational / Certification Requirement :

Associate’s Degree or Bachelors in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Automation or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience :

2-4 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Test Environment with general knowledge of Vacuum & Pneumatic technologies.
