As the Systems Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and its integration with other critical systems.

Your primary focus will be to ensure the seamless integration, optimization, and utilization of the ERP and APS software to support various business processes, working closely with cross-functional teams and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

You will also need to manage relationships with multiple vendors to move projects forward.

Your role will involve ensuring the system's optimal functionality, managing budgets, leading projects, safeguarding data security and integrity, overseeing the ERP helpdesk, and coordinating disaster recovery efforts.

This position requires strong knowledge of business processes, project management skills, and extensive experience designing, integrating, and managing ERP systems.

Requirements Primary responsibilities :

Systems Management :

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and performance of the ERP and APS System.
• Oversee the integration of various third-party applications, such as e-commerce platforms, OCR technology, EDI systems, APS Systems, forecasting tools, etc.

to streamline business processes and data flow.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions within the ERP environment.
• Continuously evaluate the ERP system's performance and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the ERP system remains innovative and aligned with business needs.
• Plan and manage system upgrades, patches, version updates, and new module implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

Data Management :

• Establish and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive information within the ERP system.
• Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems to facilitate seamless electronic communication and data exchange with customers, suppliers, and other external partners.
• Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Ensure data integrity and security during software integrations, implementing appropriate authentication measures and data encryption to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with BI specialists to integrate BI tools with the ERP system, enabling real-time data analysis, reporting, and visualization for informed decision-making

Collaboration and Project implementation :

Lead and coordinate with Stakeholders the implementation of projects related to process optimization using the ERP or related system connected to it.

Disaster Recovery Team :

• Develop and maintain with IT Manager disaster recovery plans for the ERP system to ensure business continuity in case of emergencies or system failures.
• Coordinate and lead disaster recovery exercises within the ERP to test the effectiveness of recovery procedures.
• Work with relevant teams to implement improvements based on lessons learned from recovery exercises.

Budget Management :

• Participate in budget planning related to ERP maintenance, upgrades, and future enhancements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Track and monitor expenses and budget related to ERP operations and recommend cost-effective solutions when necessary.
• Work closely with finance teams to track expenses and maintain financial transparency.
• Provide Budget report to upper management in a monthly basis.

• Strong understanding of ERP concepts, modules, and implementation methodologies.
• Proven experience in systems administration.
• Project management skills to coordinate multiple software integration projects and meet deadlines.
• Leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams and delivering successful IT projects.
• Previous work experience implementing and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. Sage X3 ERP technical experience strongly preferred and Advance Planning and Scheduling (APS)
• Experience in managing integrations with external software and tools, such as EDI, BI, OCR, Forecasting, WMS, CRM, and POS systems, etc.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
• Familiarity with data security practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
• IT certifications or a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are advantageous.

• Project Management certifications are preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office
• SQL querying, and report generation is preferred but not required.

As the Systems Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our ERP system, maintaining data integrity, and driving successful ERP projects to support the organization's growth and success.
