Data Administrator/Architect - Virtual/Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to join our Client's team. As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the database systems that support our organization's data needs.

You will work closely with our development team and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and design efficient and scalable database solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Designs and implements secure, scalable, and efficient data architectures (OLTP as well as OLAP), Sybase / SQL Server / Oracle / Postgres / MySQL / DB2 / Teradata / Snowflake / Netezza
• Develops and enforces data governance standards and policies.
• Creates conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Analyzes and migrates data from legacy systems
• Selects and implements appropriate data storage and processing technologies
• Collaborates with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Documents and maintains data architecture blueprints
• Monitors and optimizes database performance, long running queries
• Exposure to Larger Scale Data / Database Migrations / Database Upgrades / Cross-Database Implementation

Key Skills :

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases / NO SQL Databases / Hadoop(H)QL
• Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies (optional)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements
• Experience with data security (not limited to masking) and compliance regulations
• Specific technologies used by the organization (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) optional
• Knowledge of ETL, data visualization, DQ, Data Lineage, MDM, Metadata Management tools (optional)
• Data Localization and Cross Border Data Transfer related Experience
