Key Responsibilities :
- Handle Shipments with Care : Ship and receive a variety of commercial furniture and resources, ensuring every detail is accurate and safe.
- Optimize Warehouse Flow : Coordinate and execute the movement of products within the warehouse, maximizing space utilization for efficiency.
- Communicate with Confidence : Engage effectively with customers and peers, maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Keep Records Spot-On : Maintain accurate records through proper documentation and data entry, ensuring smooth operations.
- Be Proactive : Show initiative by actively participating in daily tasks and seeking out additional responsibilities to enhance your role.
- Deliver Exceptional Service : Provide top-notch customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring our clients always feel valued.
Requirements :
What We're Looking For :
- Education : High School Diploma preferred.
- Experience : 2+ years in a furniture warehouse or similar mechanical background.
- Tech Savvy : Good computer skills; familiarity with hand / power tools is a plus.
- Physical Capability : Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work on elevated surfaces.
- Math Skills : Adequate math skills and ability to read small print.
- Inventory Knowledge : Experience with barcode inventory systems preferred.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Problem Solver : Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Team Player : Ability to work effectively in a team and engage with individuals at all levels.
