The Role

We are looking for a Squad Leader of Compensation, Rewards, & Benefits who will partner with other Fidelity leaders in an Agile way to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps, and resource requirements.

You will set and refine the mission and bring together a team of chapter members to execute a global modernization strategy.

You will align the squad on the u201Cwhat u201D and u201Cwhen u201D work to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog.

You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn from failures while celebrating success.

You are committed to developing your expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role. Your responsibilities include :

  • Defining, refining, and communicating the squads' mission and roadmap to empower and establish team and partner support and alignment on a global compensation modernization strategy.
  • Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteria.
  • Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and guide team execution.
  • Measuring performance against established objectives and critical metrics and delivering agreed-upon business, technology, and people results.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with chapter leaders and scrum masters to build squad capacity and capability, enabling squad member growth, development, and learning.
  • Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines.
  • Participating in client meetings to present strategic roadmaps, participate in client usability sessions, and engage with client user groups.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor s degree in business, computer science, or engineering preferred.
  • 7+ years experience working as a Product Owner in a software development environment.
  • Proven experience designing, creating, and maintaining dynamic products and solutions.
  • Experience building roadmaps and working with the Agile team to deliver on milestones.
  • Strong working knowledge and proven experience leading an Agile development team.
  • Strong ability to efficiently communicate and develop sophisticated product features into clear and concise narratives with well defined business value and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to maintain a strong focus on execution and identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate colleagues without formal authority and have a track record of building hard-working teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain unquestioning relationships as you work across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach.
  • You are intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Strong working business / technical knowledge about building products that display financial information to customers.
  • Fast learner and a great team player

The Team

This dynamic team works in partnership with the HR team and the strategic platform Squad Leader in Associate & Workforce Management Technology (AWMT) Product Area, other Squad Leaders, Scrum Master, and Chapter Leaders aligned to the strategic platform Squad goals.

By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and Agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative Agile culture.

Partnering with HR and Associate serving leaders, HR Platform enablement leaders and business partners like HR, Compensation, Benefits, Rewards and HR Operations is essential to supporting the business functions with the technology operations platforms.

Fidelity's working model

blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
