AREA MANAGER, MANUFACTURING
Crown Beverage North America is searching for an Area Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations throughout North America.
Reporting to our Vice President, Operations, and working with senior business management, the Area Manager will have responsibilities as follows :
Commitment to Crown’s total safety culture to ensure the safety, health and well-being of all employees and their families.
Managing organizational operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives and policies
Manage productivity and quality metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.Support Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to ensure attainment of business plans for growth and profit
Lead Operations managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the Company and Division’s overall strategy
Work with leadership team to shape, develop and implement division strategy
Advise the VP, Operations on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues that relate and impact the operations of the Division
Implementation of improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI, increased cash flow and workflow optimization
Provide mentoring, guidance and training and development to direct reports and other employees throughout the operations
Building a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on achieving World Class Performance levels in every aspect of the business
Optimization of customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations and the highest levels of quality
Along with the operational responsibility, this position collaborates with the Beverage Engineering team that supports these locations.
Requirements :
The candidate selected for this role will be a highly qualified professional in Operations Leadership. Qualifications will include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Post graduate education including an MBA is a plus.
A minimum of 7 years of pertinent industry experience is required for success in this role. This experience should be broad based with proficiency demonstrated in operations, finance, budgeting, project management, continuous improvement, quality and safety.
We are seeking a results driven individual with strong relationship-building skills, solid judgment, critical thinking skills, a sense of teamwork and community, the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and highly organized.
The individual should possess superior people skills with a history of developing talent for progression within the organization.
