We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant & Morning Baker. This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks independently.
Your primary responsibilities will include morning baking, preparing food, assisting with some pastry making, as well as assisting front of house.
Key Responsibilities :
- Morning Baker : Bake a variety of pastries and baked goods each morning.
- Lunch Prep : Help prepare ingredients and dishes for our lunch menu, ensuring everything is ready for service.
- Front of House Support : Assist with lunch service by preparing orders, as well as grab pastries and support the team in serving customers.
- Assist with Pastry Making : Help prepare pastries under guidance.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking supplies.
- Assist with inventory and restocking supplies.
- Take initiative and support a welcoming environment for our customers and team.
Qualifications :
- Previous food service or kitchen experience required.
- Baking experience not required, but preferred. Training will be provided.
- Passion for food, and eagerness to learn about baking and pastry making.
- Strong work ethic. Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Ability to work independently and quickly while maintaining attention to detail and staying organized.
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 3 am start time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must have or be willing to obtain an Arizona Food Handler’s Card prior to starting.
