Volt is immediately hiring for Assemblers in Mt. Juliet, TN

As an Assembler, you will :

• 1st Shift 6am - 2 : 30pm, 2nd shift 3 : 30pm - 12am M-F
• Read and understand moderately complex to very complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and one line.
• Reports issues through entering Andon’s in LDS (Lean Digitization System).
• Enter wiring terminations through OPS app.
• Assembles very small to large parts and performs wiring assembly.
• Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
• Performs entire wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) from start to finish.
• Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
• Evaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed.
• Establishes a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training.
• Performs other duties as required and often in other groups.

The ideal candidate will have :

Employees and Contingent workers must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. High school diploma or GED required.

A pre-employment drug screen as well as a background check is required. Employees and Contingent workers must be able to communicate effectively.

• The department requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), plus Safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor.
• Work is performed in an Assembly / Manufacturing environment. The job will be performed standing and / or squatting. Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, and climb a ladder to perform work.
• Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds repetitively.

Payrate : $20 - $22 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
