Senior Procurement Auditor

Staffmark is hiring a Senior Procurement Auditor in Columbia, South Carolina, for our client that provides state agencies and political subdivisions with a variety of insurance products (property and liability) and procurement services of supplies, services, information technology, and construction.

Pay Rate : $30.00 per hour
1st Shift Hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, Monday-Friday
Essential Functions :
- Conduct audits of state agencies' procurement systems to ensure compliance with the Procurement Code.
- Lead audits of simple to moderately complex procurement systems as the Auditor-in-Charge.
- Collaborate with Audit Managers to evaluate large, complex procurement systems.
- Develop effective audit plans and strategies for each engagement.
- Prepare detailed and professional engagement work papers.
- Communicate diplomatically with State Agency personnel and management during audits.
- Formulate comprehensive audit findings and recommend cost-effective corrective actions.
- Craft concise and constructive written reports detailing audit results and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively and efficiently within audit teams.

Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or finance, with relevant professional experience.
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
