The Associate Director of Operations and Planning plays a crucial role in the School of Public Health by overseeing the management of school-wide data, tracking key initiatives, and supporting the schools strategic planning and accreditation processes.
This position requires a strategic thinker who can operate at both high-level planning and detailed project execution. The Associate Director must demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with various units and stakeholders across the school.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Deans Office, the Associate Director supervises one direct report and is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the school's planning and data management functions.
The Associate Director of Operations and Planning is a pivotal position that requires a blend of strategic vision, meticulous attention to detail, and strong collaborative skills.
By driving key planning and data management initiatives, the Associate Director contributes significantly to the continuous improvement and success of the School of Public Health.
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree required, Master's degree preferred, with 5-8 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical and data management skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
- Ability to work well with culturally diverse groups within an organization
- Proven ability to perform duties with a high level of professionalism, flexibility, discretion, judgment, diplomacy, and tact
