RN MED SURG - FULL TIME NIGHTS

Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients after surgical operations in a hospital setting?

Do you have an interest in evaluating assigned patients and plans and implementing and documenting nursing care? If so, consider joining our team as a RN Med Surg PRN

Key responsibilities for this role include :

• Evaluating assigned patients and plans
• Implementing and documenting nursing care
• Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals
• Helping patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Reporting to the head of the med / surg unit

Key qualifications for this role include :

• Ability to perform a variety of tasks
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Associate's degree
• RN Certification
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the med / surg unit
