As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the West Coast market, building new customer relationships, and driving our sales efforts forward.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sales Prospecting : Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Regularly identify potential clients who could benefit from the company’s logistics services.
- Sales Strategy Execution : Implement and adapt sales strategies to meet market needs and align with company objectives.
- Market Analysis : Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Presentations and Negotiations : Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, negotiate rates and contracts, and close deals that maximize revenue.
- Customer Service Support : Act as a point of contact for clients, promptly addressing service issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaboration with Operations : Work closely with logistics operations teams to ensure that client needs are met and that the service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Travel for Client Meetings : Visit client locations to strengthen relationships, understand their operational needs, and ensure satisfaction with provided services.
- Reporting and Analysis : Maintain detailed reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market insights to share with management during sales meetings
- Team Support : Assist other sales team members when required, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Direct Reporting : Report directly to the Regional Director in the area, providing regular updates on sales activities, market conditions, and progress toward achieving sales goals.
Work closely with the Regional Director to align sales strategies with regional objectives.
Problem Resolution : Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Education / Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA / BS) : Preferably in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- 4+ Years of Outside Sales Experience : Proven success in building a strong portfolio of clients, with a focus on maintaining and expanding shipper relationships across diverse industries.
- Logistics Expertise : In-depth understanding of logistics processes, systems, and solutions, with the ability to navigate complex supply chain needs.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge : Hands-on experience with ocean freight (NVOCC) and air freight operations, warehousing, including both import and export logistics.
