Depending on experience this role may be a Project Manager level I, II or III.
- The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for the successful delivery of all projects under their supervision. In working on medium-sized technology-related projects and / or phase(s) / component(s) of large technology-related projects which have generally medium complexity and / or medium business risk in collaboration with the project team, and under the mentorship of a senior PM, perform the following :
- Plan, implement and oversee execution of all projects to which they are assigned to deliver intended business outcomes which add value to the business on time and within scope according to agreed to business priorities.
- Facilitate appropriate tradeoffs with project teams to mitigate or address any project issues or risks related to scope, schedule, quality or resources throughout the lifecycle of a project while simultaneously identifying project resources needed throughout the project and working with resource owners to secure those resources.
- Individually or in partnership with senior Project Managers train / mentor other Colleagues throughout the enterprise on project management methodologies, and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and in execution of cross-Divisional Demand Management and Resource Allocation Practices.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, commensurate project management experience equal to 5 years will be considered
- Experience with Infrastructure Technology projects is preferred
- Experience with one or more project management tools, e.g., MS Project
- Experience with one or more formal PPM tools, e.g., Planview, Primavera, Clarity, etc.
- Skilled in MS Office 365 including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word, SharePoint and Teams
- Experience with PMI (PMBOK), Agile / Scrum, Agile / Kanban, Waterfall, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodologies
- Strong knowledge in use of formal project System Development Lifecycles
- Strong group facilitation skills.
