Westaff is looking for a 1st shift Tape Room Machine Operator in the Lowell, MA area!
Pay Rate : $20-22 / hour DOE
Location : Lowell, Mass
Shift : 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm, Monday-Friday
General Function :
The machine operator will perform general physical activities in order to operate the tape machine equipment safely and efficiently.
Fabricate product that meets all customer specs and perform in-process validation.
Job Responsibilities :
- Read and follow Job Orders
- Keep up with safety requirements
- Control and run the machine to its fullest capabilities
- Determine the required materials and products needed
- Provide detailed reports and logs on the product produced
- Be able to maintain the machine and troubleshoot parsing issues
- Mount appropriate components and raw materials on the machine
- Inspect the machines output for quality control using precision tools
- Prepare and set up machine for production turn on and adjust set points
- Have the ability to quickly identify and eliminate flaws or errors in the production
