Located in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, this hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office, supporting our dynamic team.
How You'll Spend Your Time :
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment :
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Cultivate relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to ensure a steady pipeline of top talent.
Onboarding and Training :
- Design and execute an engaging onboarding program that sets new hires up for success.
- Champion employee training and development initiatives to foster continuous growth.
- Equip employees with the tools and resources they need to excel in their roles.
Employee Relations :
- Be the go-to contact for employees on HR-related matters.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances with empathy and fairness.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and collaboration.
Performance Management :
- Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring it's both fair and constructive.
- Guide supervisors and employees through performance improvement plans when needed.
HR Compliance :
- Stay ahead of labor laws and regulations, keeping the company compliant.
- Regularly update and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Benefits Administration :
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Manage the open enrollment process and ensure employees understand their benefits options.

- Proven HR Leadership : With at least 5 years of experience in HR management, you've demonstrated your ability to lead teams, navigate complex situations, and make strategic decisions that drive positive outcomes.
- Deep Knowledge of HR Best Practices : Your expertise in employment laws and HR best practices ensures that our company remains compliant, efficient, and ahead of industry trends.
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills : You're a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships with employees, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
- Tech-Savvy HR Professional : You're proficient in HR software and tools, using technology to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and provide data-driven insights.
- Educational Foundation : You hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, providing you with a solid foundation in HR principles and practices.
- Certification Advantage : While not required, an HR certification like SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred, showcasing your commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
