Mark Dishman We are seeking a Conference Services Manager for an upscale full-service hotel in downtown Chicago. This group is recognized with multiple properties achieving Top Workplaces 2023 by the Chicago Tribune.
With close to 10,000 sq. ft. of event space, this position will lead the continued growth and development of the event department with active client engagement while delivering the highest quality of service.

COMPENSATION : $65,000-$75,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus, health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, and much more!
Conferences Services Manager Qualifications :
- 3+ years as Event or Conference Service Manager at a luxury, full-service hotel
- Exceptional food and beverage knowledge
- Experience in full, detailing, and execution of events for up to 300 people
- Be able to work 45 - 55 hours a week when necessary, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Conferences Services Manager Responsibilities :
- Initiate written communication with clients upon receiving files and maintain regular contact to build relationships.
- Manage and monitor group room blocks, track pick-ups, and send weekly rooming lists to clients.
- Assist clients with menu planning, food and beverage coordination, and table arrangements.
- Prepare group resumes with reservation details, billing, Banquet Event Orders, off-site events, and VIP amenities.
- Create, update, and revise Banquet Event Orders, confirming guest counts and changes with clients and support departments.
