The Role
The Analytical Associate will be responsible for reading, reviewing, interpreting, understanding and working with information on construction as-builts and updating necessary systems.
Location and Schedule
This is a full-time, work-from-home position and is part of our Union with geographic requirements. To be eligible, you must reside in one of the following states, and within those States, be within an RCA (Reasonable Commute Area) as outlined in the contract.
This includes Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
Regular schedule is Mon-Fri 7am - 4pm. with possible overtime. This schedule can change based on the business needs.
The Main Responsibilities
- Reads, reviews, interprets, understands and works with information on blueprints, outside plant prints, outside plant records, outside plant maps or topographical maps
- Utilizes computer-aided design software, such as NDS
- Pays close attention to detailed specifications
- Ensures that job is built and recorded in compliance with Lumen’s accounting principles.
- Reviews Completed Projects ensuring all Billing is finalized with AsBuilts uploaded to Sitetracker via Salesforce
- Routes jobs back to engineering for reissues and reconciles when job is complete.
- Responds to inquiries from engineers, project managers, and supervisors.
- Ensures field updates on AsBuilts are recorded into the necessary systems such as NDS, Excel, Fireworks / Bidmaster, PowerBI, and / or Sitetracker
- Prioritizes multiple projects and performs under pressure.
- Performs advanced and complex clerical duties, requiring ability to review, follow-up, analyze and reconcile data of a complex nature from multiple sources.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
- 1-5 years of work experience in OSP Telecom Industry
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to track and enter time charged against individual jobs into timesheet software.
- Able to concentrate on detailed tasks over extended periods of time without being distracted.
- Primarily performs work duties sitting or standing at a workstation utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to promote positive team culture
- High-speed internet connection is required and must be sufficient for frequent video calls and on camera meetings
- Establish a dedicated workplace in your home or work location. The workplace must have an adequate work surface for two monitors and a laptop computer and be free of background noise / distractions.
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficient in NDS, ARAMIS, or similar OSP CAD systems
- Working knowledge of Sitetracker via Salesforce
- Fireworks / Bidmaster working knowledge
- Able to track and enter time charged against individual jobs into WFS.
- Working Knowledge of Telecom terminology and acronyms
- Hands on experience working with ISP and OSP construction blueprints
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$13.48 - $32.69- in these states : Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
