To join our team as a Commercial and Industrial Sales Consultant! We are seeking a trained sales professional who is passionate about transitioning their communities to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral future.
This role will make a meaningful impact in the rapidly evolving landscape of energy efficiency solutions. The C&I Sales Consultant will be responsible for working with commercial or industrial customers to qualify leads and convert them into signed contracts to meet their annual sales goals.
They will work in a cross-functional team and be responsible for the preparation of proposals, business cases, and presentations to customers.
Acts as a liaison between trade allies and program partners or other channel sales to generate project leads and work with the end customer to identify needs.

There are billions of dollars in available incentives for California businesses, and the Energy Program Advisor's job is to help these businesses identify their available incentives and maximize their energy savings.
This is a sales-focused business development role with heavy prospecting required. The primary responsibility is to engage with key decision-makers in the commercial and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling into the commercial and industrial markets, with a strong preference for those with an established network of contacts in the Greater LA area or elsewhere in Southern California, including the Inland Empire.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct extensive prospecting to identify and engage with facilities managers, engineering managers, energy managers, and sustainability managers within the commercial and industrial sectors.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities to increase program participation.
Help businesses identify their available incentives and maximize their energy savings.
Hand off highly qualified participants to the Program Management team for seamless program implementation.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of direct experience selling into the commercial and industrial markets.
Network : Established network of contacts in the Greater LA area or elsewhere in Southern California, including the Inland Empire, is highly desirable.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with energy-related products and services is beneficial, but the primary focus is on proven experience and success in selling to industrial and commercial clients in Southern California.
Skills : Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualification : Familiarity with and / or involvement in local chapters of influential industry groups such as IFMA, BOMA, and IREM.
Compensation :
OTE target $150k - including base and commission
Compensation Range
$72,400.00 - $108,700.00
