Conveyance Talent Solutions is working a leading commercial construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

They specialize in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, tilt wall, and industrial construction.

Because of significant growth, they are searching for a Superintendent to join their Salt Lake City team.

Position Overview :

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects. They will also have extensive experience in healthcare, higher education, K-12, tilt wall, industrial, or similar sectors.

This person will be responsible for overseeing all field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Oversight : Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.

Safety Compliance : Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Quality Control : Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets the required specifications and standards.

Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact between project management, clients, architects, and subcontractors.

Facilitate effective communication to ensure smooth project execution.

Problem Solving : Identify and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays and cost overruns.

Documentation : Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, change orders, and as-built drawings.

Budget Management : Assist in managing project budgets, controlling costs, and minimizing waste.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, specifically in healthcare, higher education, K-12, tilt wall, industrial, or similar sectors.

Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, particularly in specialized sectors like healthcare and education.

Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively.

Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex challenges on-site.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Safety Focus : In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Certifications : OSHA certification and other relevant construction certifications are a plus.
