Job Description :
Position : Data ETL Engineer
Location : Austin, TX
Hire Type : Contract to hire
Contract Rate : $60 / hr+ W-2 (Depending on experience)
100% Remote
Required Experience And Skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing and implementing ETL technical solutions for complex data models using multiple data sources
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Informatica Cloud, Python, SQL, and PL / SQL
- Demonstrated expert judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for designing ETL solutions and optimizing ETL performance
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle and AWS PostgreSQL database environments including schema architecture
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and good documentation habits.
- Demonstrated experience with orchestration and automation of database processes.
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Team player, comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels.
- Self-motivated and able to organize work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Experience And Skills
- Graduate degree in computer Science or related field with five years of professional experience as an ETL Developer utilizing Informatica, IBM DataStage, SQL, PL / SQL, and Python.
- Three years of experience working in a cloud-based data warehouse environment.
- Experience with multiple types of databases.
- Experience with high availability database implementations.
- Basic networking knowledge as it relates to database systems.
- Informatica and AWS certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, test case development and execution.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).
- Experience with issue tracking systems (JIRA).
