We are currently seeking a dynamic professional with demonstrated impact to lead our Youth Development (After School and Summer Day Camp) and Child Watch programs at our North and West YMCA branches!
The qualified candidate will possess at a minimum :
- Demonstrated skill in youth program management
- Passion for working and developing youth
- Able to build solid relations with community entities and grow progressive programs
- Must obtain a minimum of 75 points as established by DHS regulations this is achieved through a combination of education, experience and training.
- Proven record of successfully managing multiple programs simultaneously.
- Able to respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in emergency situations
- Able to relate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people from all segments of the community

SALARY : $45,000 - $50,000 annually

The Program Director-Youth Development ensures quality programs are offered for youth and teens in the community and develops positive long-term relationships with participants.
The Program Director is primarily responsible for generating, planning and organizing productive youth / teen oriented activities and for overall administration of the program in the assigned branches.
The Program Director will manage the program in accordance with the goals, objectives, and budgetary constraints set forth by the YMCA and state child care guidelines.

Must possess a bachelor's degree in related field. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, take initiative to reach out to participants and community partners and be detail oriented.
Must be able to meet state licensing requirements and complete all required training.
