JOB TITLE : CX IT Customer DBA Engineer
DEPARTMENT : Public Sector - Transportation
REPORTS TO : CX IT Team Lead
JOB LOCATION : Piney Flats, TN (Hybrid)
SUMMARY OF POSITION :
A CX IT Customer Database Engineer must be able to conceptualize and design DB solutions and manage processes with a team of developers.
A Database Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the design, development and delivery of data and database solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Database Management : Overseeing the database infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and managing database performance.
- System Optimization : Implementing enhancements and optimizations to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Security Management : Ensuring database security protocols are in place to protect sensitive information.
- Support and Troubleshooting : Providing technical support to resolve database-related issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaboration : Working closely with other IT teams, developers, and business units to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE) :
- A college degree or equivalent acquired knowledge from work history related to software development, database structures and analysis.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient coding skills
- Good communication, time management and leadership skills.
