Restaurant Group - Staff Accountant (w / Payroll Experience)
Our growing restaurant and hospitality group is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team! We currently operate ten (10) upscale dining restaurants in the Chicago market.

Position : Accounting Manager
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Maintain accounting records for restaurant activity in Quickbooks, compiled monthly financial statements, and prepared operation summaries for senior management.
Assist restaurant managers with annual budgets and forecasts
Reconcile monthly revenue between the POS system and Quickbooks
Enter, review, and process invoices and checks
Process and record payroll activity
Coordinate with onsite restaurant managers / bookkeepers regarding financial information
Manage cash positions and reconcile bank accounts.
Maintain HR files for all restaurant employees to ensure compliance
Candidate Requirements :
Associate or higher degree preferred
5 years of accounting / accounts payable experience within commercial real estate and / or restaurant industries
Strong organizational and communication skills, oral and written.
Experience with Restaurant 365, QuickBooks, and MS Office (Word and Excel).
