Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities :
- Case Management : Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation, including the management of case files, maintaining client records, and organizing documents.
- Document Preparation : Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, motions, and trial exhibits.
- Client Communication : Serve as a liaison between attorneys and clients, providing updates, gathering information, and ensuring clients are well-informed about their cases.
- Discovery : Manage the discovery process, including the organization and review of documents, preparation of discovery responses, and coordination of depositions.
- Trial Preparation : Assist in preparing for trial, including the organization of exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders, as well as providing support during trial proceedings.
- Administrative Duties : Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
Qualifications :
- Education : Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
