RH is seeking a Payroll Specialist who will provide support with administering specialized payroll functions such as producing biweekly payroll, on-demand checks, and compensation adjustments.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Live Our Vision, Values, and Beliefs
- Manage daily requirements for final pay and adjustments for the off-cycle check process
- Input updates to Federal and state tax withholding forms, direct deposit enrollments, and wage garnishments received from HR and third-party agencies
- Participate in the testing and development of enhanced internal controls inclusive of Sarbanes-Oxley and post-audit reviews
- Undertake and execute specialized initiatives and assignments as delegated
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- years of Payroll processing experience in a large organization (,+ employees) across multiple states
- Payroll system knowledge, Excel skills, Gmail email management, Business English skills, and experience using UKG Pro and / or Dayforce
- Recognize the importance of handling highly confidential information, and must have excellent judgment and organization skills
- Understanding of payroll-related regulations (wage and hour laws, IRS rules regarding supplemental wages, legal guidelines for wage garnishments, etc.)
- Meet deadlines with the ability to multi-task and be effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in a retail payroll environment is preferred
