Seeking a Full Time Food Service Director in a Long Term Care Facility. We offer an excellent salary with great benefits, and room for advancement.
Job Responsibilities include :
- Oversee and train cooks and dietary staff.
- Oversee and distribute menu preparation assignments.
- Ensure food is meeting the highest of standards.
- Perform audits including labeling, dating and sanitation rounds.
- Demonstrate and ensure accurate and appealing plating of food.
- Audit tray line for accuracy.
Job Requirements :
- Must be ServSafe certified. CDM is a plus.
- Candidate should possess a hands-on leadership approach.
- Experience with ordering, menu planning, therapeutic diet and scheduling.
- Familiar with local and federal food and safety guidelines.
- Candidate must comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines.
- Candidate must possess organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must possess attention to detail.
- Minimum 3 years of LTC experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years Food Service experience.
