Summary :
The Automation Support Intern will be participating in the support of projects and company initiatives that are directly related to the automation department and assisting our customers with technical and automation related issues.
This individual works closely with our Automation Team, Inside Sales and Sales Support Team to develop and deliver customer solutions with our products.
This individual displays behavior that support our culture, our 5 P's and our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
- Electrical Distribution Orientation - Learn the roles of various departments in the organization as well as relationships with key partners and vendors.
- Job shadowing in various departments with a focus on automation
- Orientation to our Automation Support and Design Engineering Teams - support and learn from them.
- Joint customer site visits with Account Managers & Specialists to learn how we engage and support our customers.
- Provide customer assistance
- Attend commercial events & support as needed in technical sessions, labs or the trade show
- Technical Troubleshooting

Job Requirements / Specifications :
- High School Graduate
- Pursuing a degree in a technical field including but not limited to engineering, automation, robotics, computer science, information technology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work Environment & Physical Demands :
