Responsibilities
- Compile comprehensive, targeted media lists, actively pitch media and secure earned media coverage
- Write, proof and edit client-related documents including pitches, press materials, news releases, other editorial content
- Supporting client media briefings, events, speaking opportunities and developing award submissions
- Monitor, track and report earned, owned and social media coverage of client news and competitor developments
- Research industry or program-relevant topics efficiently
- Participating in client meetings, develop agendas, managing trackers and drafting meeting reports
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, or journalism.
- Prior work experience or PR internships in public relations role (PR agency-based client-based experience is strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with public relations / communications programs as evidenced through completed college coursework, internships, or related work experience.
- Interest and desire to work in public relations with corporate and financial services B2B and B2C clients.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and writing skills.
- Experience with research and measurement tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) is preferred but optional.

Anticipated Salary : $23.00 / hour to $24.00 / hour for this full-time, non-exempt, direct hire position. Is commensurate with experience and dependent upon the location.
