Job Summary
- Actively conduct safety and security patrols and respond to requests for assistance in accordance with written hospital policy and department standard operation procedure (SOP).
- Have a proactive and highly engaged approach to job duties.
Qualifications
Education
- High school or equivalent GED.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English and have basic computer skills.
Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure / Certification
- Must be 21 in order to be covered under NRHS insurance carrier.
- Must have valid Oklahoma driver's license.
- Must successfully complete legal issues, the force continuum, handcuffing techniques and O.C. pepper spray within one year of employment or have supporting training current.
- Full time may be required to have Notary.
- Must have current CLEET Unarmed Security License or be able to attain within one year of hire.
- Must successfully complete IAHSS Basic certification within 1 Year of hire.
- Must complete MANDT de-escalation training within 1 year of hire.
- Must complete ICS training modules during first 30 day training period.
Compensation
$13.74-$22.44 / hr depending on previous work experience.
