Position Summary

Trinity is a highly selective, independent, nonsectarian liberal arts institution located in Hartford, Connecticut. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the Career & Life Design Center is responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that amplifies the Center’s mission and student success stories.
- Create compelling content, manage the Center’s social media presence, and coordinate digital and print marketing efforts to engage students, alumni, and campus partners.
- Develop and implement targeted email campaigns, oversee website content updates, and design visual materials that reflect the Center’s brand identity.
- Analyze communication metrics to optimize strategies and ensure impactful storytelling across all channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data management, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data tracking and reporting.
- Experience with marketing platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools.
- Knowledge of systems like Handshake, PeopleGrove, and / or uConnect.
- Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for program improvement.
