Accountant/Senior Audit
Our client is a business advisory firm and they are seeking an Accountant / Senior Audit to join their team.
Salary / Hourly Rate :
$90,000 $100,000 plus Bonus
Position Overview :
The Accountant / Senior Audit performs field audits and provides support for customers. This Accountant / Senior Audit role also assist with the development, training, and supervision of Staff Accountants and Interns.
Responsibilities of the Accountant / Senior Audit :
- Planning, executing, directing, and completing customer engagements
- Managing engagements to budget and day-to-day responsibilities
- Prepare or review financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters
- Direct and perform research and support for projects
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
- Recognize and resolve or elevate potential or existing problems
- Serve as a business advisor to clients
- Assist in the development and execution of department’s various training programs
- Set and monitor staff scheduling and workloads
- Participate in recruitment events
Qualifications for the Accountant / Senior Audit :
- 3+ years of progressive CPA firm experience
- Ability to train and develop other team members
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to train, orient and mentor staff
- Ability to review and evaluate the work of others
- Detail oriented
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- MS or MBA is preferred
