Job Summary
The Manager ensures high quality patientcentered carethrough oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of theunit / department.
The Manager monitors and evaluates the provisionof nursing care in accordance with established policies / proceduresand holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes insupport of facility objectives.
Participates in providing patientspecific care standards as directed and follows service excellencestandards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
JobResponsibilities
You will help create a superiorclinical identity by operationalizing evidencebased practices toenhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
Ensure adherence tostandards of care.
You willsupport efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice andimprove efficiency effectiveness and cost. Ensure a culture ofaccountability and transparency in the provision ofcare.
You will support theachievement of internal / external benchmarks accreditations anddesignations.
You willensure compliance with all policies procedures and regulatorystandards.
You will ensureequipment maintenance is performed regularly and according toregulatory and / or accreditationstandards.
You will manageadmissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughputand high quality patientcenteredcare.
You will facilitateeffective interdisciplinary care coordination within and acrossdepartments. Ensure staff with appropriate clinical competenciesare assigned to meet patient careneeds.
You will provideleadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patientexperience. Instill accountability for providing consistentpositive patient interactions that differentiate the organizationas a healthcare leader.
Youwill review various feedback mechanisms and helps identifyopportunities to improve customer / patient satisfaction. Supportsthe development and implementation of strategies to elevate thepatient experience.
You willleverage various feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance andidentify opportunities to improve patientsatisfaction.
You willensure compliance with evidencebased practices that enhance patientexperience and customerservice.
You willcollaborate with subject matter experts and other leaders to createan environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes andservice.
You will identifydevelopment opportunities or training needs of individual employeesand teams.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must beobtained within 90 days of employment startdate
Basic Cardiac LifeSupport
PALS Pediatric AdvLife Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment startdate
RegisteredNurse
Bachelors DegreeREQUIRED
Will need to have recent ER leadershipexperience since its an off shift
