Collision Center Receptionist

The Body Shop Assistant ensures prompt processing of all Body Shop automotive repairs and claims. To do this well, the Body Shop Assistant must display great work ethics and project a "can do" attitude. Because of the intricate paperwork and processes, the Body Shop Assistant must be familiar with insurance claims and paperwork related to vehicle repairs.

Attention to detail, impeccable paperwork and unwavering organizational skills is key as they are also responsible for scheduling appointments. The Body Shop Assistant performs a variety of tasks to support the Body Shop Estimators under the direction of the Body Shop Manager.

What You'll Do :

  • Greet customers as they arrive to the body shop and retrieve vehicle information
  • Assists estimators compile necessary documents from customers and insurance companies
  • Educates the customer of procedures performed on their vehicles and provides status updates and estimated completion times

What You'll Need :

  • Ability to work under pressure in order to maintain payment accuracy and meet accounting deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiar with Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in use of PC, 10 key and typing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and relentless follow up
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, independently and with a team
  • A professional appearance and work ethic
  • Previous experience a plus
